It's not a Mondo's but a very detailled documentary.

This satirical, biased, devastating, and ultimately insightful documentary is a heady experience about individual power and the horrors of absolutism. Romm is a proto-Michael Moore, and gets in the ointment without being obnoxious. Propaganda? Yes. But propaganda most of us can get behind.

This is a movie with two purposes. One, its primary purpose, is a thorough examination of the social psychology surrounding the rise and rule of Nazism in Germany. This, it does incredibly well thanks to the narration that mixes a variety of tones in a way that makes it very captivating. The other part of the film is a look at the western world, done with a very Soviet perspective, this is interesting in its own way and is much smaller, but the film would be even better without it.
