I really disliked this film ... intensely so for most of it's running time. I have to admit that a fair amount of this would be due to the rather huge cultural divide between myself and your average Brazilian, and my inability to understand Portuguese is a huge disadvantage. Comedy very rarely survives a profound language gap. That said ... given the insanely broad performances, I find it very difficult to believe that I could ever like this film.
