Nowhere

Survival against the odds. After starting with some ideas about a possible future world of deprivation and despair, where does this film go? Nowhere, really, and it takes it’s time getting there. The minor theme that “children can’t be locked up too long in small spaces” seems like a comment on the Covid-19 pandemic. Far from the best example of its type.

Hayatta kalma, göçmen, sığınmacı, karı koca, konteyner, doğum, müstehcen. Ağır gidiyor.

Had me floating along. Much better than feared for such a small scale survival concept.

Decent one-woman performance of The Poseidon Adventure. Gets increasingly contrived as it makes the peculiar decision to stretch to almost 2 hours, and the ending is disappointing, but for a while there it does some really good things.
