In this very abstract cartoon, a hard-of-hearing old Britisher finds a red horn and uses it as a megaphone, unaware that it is really a lost horn from the Devil's forehead. The Britisher finds that the horn has the effect of amplifying every sound psychedelically and causing him serious bodily harm. (imdb)

Boy, this is weird. It's more of an exploration on the marriage of animation and sound than any sort of traditional narrative, and in that respect, it's quite interesting. I can't see anyone other than an animation buff or film student being interested in this short though, it's a little too abstract for the masses. Maybe that's why it's never televised.

Another amazing original that doesn't rely on the usual LT stars.

Could be considered Jones's "Porky in Wackyland"; it's the artist saying, "This is what it's like inside my head. Pretty crazy, huh?" Its starkness and odd subversion of comic timing is cribbed from more innovative animators like Servais, Khitruk, and Deitch, which maybe precludes its being called a masterpiece, but for Jones and Warner it certainly is a refreshing departure.

Sound visualisation idea is pretty good, but the execution lacks a bit on imagination.
