Nothing Like the Holidays

I guess I can see what it was trying to do. They did try to work to give dimensions to the characters. But it didn't really work well and the personal drama of each would often fall flat or be clichés. The character's cultural identity was very present but seemed awkward and abnormally staged, like bad product placement. Just Bing it, guys. A shame, it could have been better, the actors were doing okay in spite of it all.

Some interesting dialog/characters, a picturesque view of Puerto Ricantradition, I enjoyed, it but I doubt most people would.

I thought it was never going to end! I am latin and i was not pleasent to watch this movie!

This is one of those slow-moving soap-opera type of movies that is far from being a romance OR a comedy (which surprised me since it was promoted as such). If you have must have action in your movies to enjoy them, then skip on this one. This being said, Nothing Like the Holidays is well produced and the cast does an excellent job bringing its characters to life.

super-boring, from the title i expected something like a chevy chase movie, but this drama thingy sucked

Lame and not all that entertaining. Can't say I expected that much better though. Grade: C-
