Pavi (Nishan) & his 4 friends lead a lazy life, much to the annoyance of their parents. Pavi dreams of becoming a director some day, while the rest of them play truant at their existing jobs. Pavi meets Maya (Mithra Kurian) & a string of spats ensue, which climaxes in Pavi announcing his "love" to Maya in front of her family on the day of her betrothal, to get back at her.
