Wanting to see his homeland again, he convinces his wife to take a short holiday there with him and Mahtob. It was ok, but the husband's villainization was really perplexing to me. How could you be married to this guy for however many years and have no idea that he's secretly a complete unredeemable asshole?

I'm not going to claim this film is anywhere near being fair on Iranians, but as far as a western women trapped in a hopeless situation in a foreign culture, I felt the movie managed to be effective. Used too much time to bastardize the husband though. Could have cut that shorter and made the escape more thrilling.

i'm an iranian! & i'm very very sorry for this misrepresent of my culture & my country. and except it's main artists (Sally Field, Alfred Molina) the other actings are Terrible!

Kitabin kalitesine ulasamayan vasat bir uyarlama. Belki dizi olarak cekilse daha iyi olurdu. Kitabini okuduktan sonra filmi izlemeyi tavsiye edebilirim.
