Northmen - A Viking Saga

If you are in the mood to watch a film that doesn't make you think and has lots of fighting, then this movie will work for you. If you're looking for developed characters in an interesting plot, you should look else where. Simple action film with viking theme.

How many times can you save your comrades just before they're about to be killed by throwing an axe, blade, or spear perfectly across a battle ground and into their opponent's chest? About 11. Very silly action. Very obvious and formulaic plot. But whatever - it is what it is. This is entertaining if you're dumbed down with some mighty drugs.

Watchable film to kill some time.

Not much of a plot but plenty of action, just a cheesy fun film.

Past History credits the Vikings for discovering and attempting to colonize the New World. They're stranded on some foreign shore, forced to fight their way home. You know the film is quality when it’s about vikings stuck in Scotland and there are neither Scandinavians nor Scots in the cast and the bad guys have little skull faces on the backs of their black leather helmets. But an unambitious chase plot with various decent set pieces and Tom Hopper looking hot with long hair help it pass the time.
