Plain Jack Perrin. As average a cowboy can get. Yet he got a bunch of starring vehicles like this. He had the benefit of making a name for himself during the silent days, but he's not much of a talker so not a good pick to carry a movie in the days of the talkies. Not that the others making this movie had more talent then him. It's just bottom craping with enough western action to make it passable for a poverty row'er.... barely!
