Nobody's Darling

Anthony Mann and his damn musicals! Okay, that might not be synonymous. This was when he was still learning his craft trying to find his style. Nothing here that suggest what that style would be. A routine production, a little more serious than musicals of it's kind, but still nothing to set it apart from the other b-pictures being poured out of the studio system.

This is a film made for 1940's teenage viewers. It was well made, but it's not something I'd watch again or recommend unless you are watching all of Anthony Mann's films.
