After trying to break into show business, two mismatched girlfriends become nurses. One of their patients is a new mother who has hidden her pregnancy from her husband, the nightclub dancing partner she had secretly married. Considering this was the time producer Hal Roach was phasing out making short-films in favor of ill-fated short-ish features, Nobody's Baby (1937) might be one of his better offerings. It's not genius comedy, but it isn't offensively bad either. I kind of liked the pairing of clumsy Patsy Kelly and her source for irritation, Lyda Roberti. Lynne Overman showed his comic qualities in a convincing manner as well. That, and a lot of baby confusion and enough to make me laugh.
