Master chef Kate Armstrong lives her life like she runs her kitchen at a trendy Manhattan eatery with a no-nonsense intensity that both captivates and intimidates everyone around her. Kate's perfectionist nature is put to the test when she "inherits" her nine-year-old niece Zoe, while contending with a brash new sous-chef who joins her staff. High-spirited and freewheeling, Nick Palmer couldn't be more different from Kate, yet the chemistry between them is undeniable... (Warner Bros.)

What a crappy piece of romantic crap. From the moment you see 'Nick' (twinkeling eyes, unstoppable enthusiasm, 'funny' jokes and his adorable smile) you know he's destined to stick his tongue inside Kate's mouth, which he does halfway the movie, after that their relation goes through some troubles (didn't see that coming) and it happily ends with a lot of love, kisses and nice feelings (neither that). And the little girl is really, really annoying.

How many montages set to inexplicable music selections can one movie manage? No Reservations is determined to push this question to its very limits. There is almost no story here because every time you think they're going to have an interesting conversation it turns into a stupid montage instead. Eckhart manages to make it decent, but you're better off setting up two TVs and playing Thank You For Smoking side-by-side with the Food Network. Breslin's wearing out her welcome, fast.

It has no impact. Predictable and unnatural. Its not feels like real. You now that you're just watching a movie in everysecond. Its never take you away or take you into it. Its just obvious, predictable and a frozen screenplay. Movie needs more character and natural conflicts.

Predictable, lazy, and boring. The relationship between the main character and her niece was good and I found my self wanting to see more, but it never really went anywhere thanks to the dumb romance plot. Coping with loss, change, new responsibilities, balancing the pull between work and family these are all compelling. However, as is it's just another run of the mill rom-com.

I appreciated the gentle nice tone but the performances aren't good enough to back it up.

Awful. Aaron Eckhart is pretty to look at, and Patricia Clarkson brings more than a touch of class to everything she's in, but mostly it's just painful to watch.

Five years from now, this bland and forgettable throwaway will be remembered only for Breslin, who will by then be a poised and gifted 16-year-old actress.

No reasons to watch this awfulness; promising female cast and from there it's mostly downhill - and that includes the acting from those females. *Preview*: #12#, exp-2*, popcorn, story, Catherine.ZJ/7, (actresses), R2.

There's a lot to recommend this, not the least of which is the on-screen charisma of the principals. Eckhart here plays the nice guy, not at all the slimy guy he does so well in other flicks. It's Zeta Jones who is meant to come off as tyrannical, but she doesn't really push it that far, and that's okay with me. Scenes with Eckhart and Breslin are probably the best, 'though Breslin's presence in this film is mostly a device for getting Zeta Jones and Eckhart together. A decent romantic comedy.

I've seen this movie entirely too many times. It's not very good, but it isn't awful. The charisma of Eckhart carries through. Watch it if you have nothing else.

I just saw the movie to complete it, the German version was much better. The acting is just pathetic as compared to it is far to inferior. I would suggest watching Mostly Martha as opposed to this.

Nothing special here. No clue who Aaron Eckhart is and after this performance didn't help me remember him going forward. Babs Breslin held her own try to carry the film but she can only do so much. I never knew and wish I had never been informed that you could cook something in a pigs bladder. When I asked my date what she thought she kinda shrugged, and said "It's something to watch". Not the ringing review that Zeta-Jones and Babs were probably looking for.

Though it's not the greatest film in the world, it never pretends to be that way either. It's a romantic comedy you may have seen thousands of times before and the style can be quite pedestrian. In spite of these minor imperfections, "No Reservations" still has plenty to offer in its genre and it exceeds in many levels that the average romantic comedy has failed over the years. Catherine Zeta-Jones is as beautiful as she's never been before. If you are an opera guru there is some elegant Ve

I actually stopped it before it ended. When did Catherine Zeta-Jones stop acting? She was awful, and her character was absurd, and not consistent. I liked little Breslin, and Eckhart held his own, though I'm not sure I believed his motives at all times.
