Stylistically it's a really cool concept and well-executed, but I don't think it's quite enough to carry the film entirely. There is a little bit of drag in the middle where the silent tense hiding from aliens feels redundant. The visuals are powerful and the claustrophobic feeling that Kaitlyn Devers' character is truly alone in the town works great in small doses. Honestly, as a high concept short film, this would have been incredible, but it wears thin towards the film's conclusion.

I definitely liked the genre elements and the gimmick more than the script but I'm pretty sure the teenage version of me, when I was really into 'The X-Files' and 'Dark Skies', would have been blown away by it.

A solid alien invasion thriller that is almost entirely carried by the very talented Kaitlyn Dever. I'm not sure if having no dialogue really added to my enjoyment of the film, but it was interesting to see the filmmakers tackle that challenge. The last act had me very confused for large stretches, though, so maybe some dialogue might have helped.

It builds dread steadily through the first thirty minutes and I was actually invested... Up until she gets hit face first by a door and it kind of turns into a three stooges skit. All tension is gone after that and it becomes increasingly goofy, culminating in an ending so ridiculous that I was still laughing at it ten minutes later.

I think it's really cool when movies go for a more unconventional way of telling a story, like an (almost) dialogue-less script. However, that doesn't save this particular film from a boring premise and weak pacing. The ending was also a bit cringe, ngl. Overall, it was okay-ish.

I feel like this is the first movie to leave me speechless in a long while. Not only are the story and the protagonist great, but it has some of the best visuals and one of the best scores I've seen in sci-fi, period. This movie desperately needs to be talked about, just as it desperately needed a theatrical release. I will forever be upset that this wasn't put on the big screen. Just...wow.

This was interesting. Other than the Quiet Place movies, which have a plot reason, I don't think I've seen another modern movie that has basically no dialogue, so Kaitlyn Dever really had to focus on other ways to deliver her performance, and as usual, she does a great job here. The story is a bit strange, but the visuals look pretty good for what I'm expecting was a fairly low budget movie, and the sound design was fantastic!

Cool cinematography, cool concept. Tropey, sometimes silly, dragged-out execution, nonsensical even when it comes to the core theme, which is a good idea, but... :/ Somehow, I liked the ending, though. Maybe I appreciated the idea behind it, and the stuff leading up to it, but the way it was done it didn't really work, I thought. But it aesthetically tied up what was otherwise going to be just a sorta meh repetetive mess. So it kind of saved the movie for me a little bit.

Solid first act, although I found it more tense prior to the moment it revealed the creature design. Second act is different than what I expected, but felt aimless. Third act started strong, but was frustrating in how much it went back and forth. Decent enough, if inconsistent.

Fun, sunny movie with popcorn vibes. Beautifully shot. I appreciate the 'classic' Martian and Flying Saucer design. Too bad there is some drag in the middle when she is gasping, trembling, and hiding for the 100th time. A seventy-minute cut of this film would be truly great. Also, CGI-heavy scenes should be either excellent or scrapped. We cannot accept wonky CGI today anymore. Occasionally it was a bit off. The power of suggestion trumps poor visuals.

A really, really mixed bag for me. Absolutely loved the aliens in this movie, they were super creepy and weird in the way proper horror aliens should be. The scenes with them were always tense and worked well for me. I wasn't all on board for the 'no dialogue' -thing, mostly because all the gasping and heavy breathing to convey emotions made me have a flashback of Kristen Stewart (bites-lip-sighs-breathes-in-a-shudder) and it took me out of the scenes because it annoyed me so much.

I wanna give the movie its rating based on the alien design alone. Such a brilliant take on a classic concept. That Kaitlyn Dever delivers a convincing performance and the movie is quite chilling helps too.

The acting was decent and the alien looked pretty good but nearly everything else about this was subpar. I mean almost nothing in this movie was explained or made sense, what a waste of an interesting premise. For such a short film it grew rather tedious.

I don't know what this movie was trying to do, but it definitely didn't work for me. I simply found it incredibly boring and can't really see how watching this would be anything but a complete waste of time.

Well, that WAS an unexpected twist.. Was it great? No.. but was it good? Yeah, especially in the first hour. It does have an interesting third act that I dom’t think will work for everyone, but at least it is something different. Hiding nothing about the aliens and going for it in the first fifteen minutes was brave. A well made, decent film

Well acted by Dever and allows us to see the aliens from the outset which is often frowned upon in this genre, but I welcomed it here for a different flavour of a familiar tale. Some cool sequences, albeit I'm not sure the ending quite landed for me. 6.5 for an above average and enjoyable little drama about grief, acceptance and forgiveness masquerading as a SciFi thriller.

Kaitlyn Dever puts in a good, mostly wordless, performance. There's a lot of intrigue from the very beginning, and while it ends up mining pretty common territory, the path it takes to get there is inspired. It's a tense movie. At first I hated that the alien was a stereotypical design, but they do play with it a bit which is cool. It helps that they're often framed in an intimidating way. The directing as a whole is solid. Watch this if you want an alien invasion movie that's a tad different.

Very difficult to rate, I utterly enjoyed the first hour. But the mix of childhood trauma with horror/sciencefiction is ultimately what didn't work for me personally.

At some point, I start to wonder if it's time to place a moratorium on horror movies using Main Character Grief Trauma as the central metaphor. By the great ending, that (and the amazing Kaitlyn Dever) has won me over. Unlike the silly CGI aliens whose powers, intelligence and motivation vary depending on what would serve our heroine's journey in this scene, or the thinly stretched gag of having no dialogue. You wanna make a silent movie? Make a silent movie! Shaky routine, great dismount.

Katelyn Dever shines in this dialogue-light alien thriller on Hulu. Mixing '50s aesthetics with modern elements, it's visually captivating. While the graphics have limitations, the intense action and editing make up for it, delivering a unique cinematic experience. Highly recommended for those seeking a thrilling, suspenseful ride.

Horror movie "that is actually about grief" number #101 of the year. HOW MUCH LONGER??? Riddled with tropes, so many i lost count. They couldn't come up with a cooler alien than the big forehead droopy alien face that was en vogue in the 50s, what the hell? The sound design was alright in places, but way overdone and overscored overall. No criticism on Dever, she gave a strong performance as usual. (I liked when the alien got really big, i often like when things suddenly get very big)

A cool sci-fi horror movie that uses it’s no-dialogue trick to good use. If only it could have ended as good as it started. But I still got to give it credit for what it did before.

I am pleasantly surprised by this wonderful horror/sci-fi film, with almost no dialogue, character-driven, and great visual narrative. No One Will Save You is also very emotional with its themes of guilt and forgiveness. I watched with excitement the anxiety-filled opening scene and the story full of mysteries that continue throughout the movie. Also, there is a very unexpected ending!
