Watch for the Gable / Lombard on-screen chemistry which translated to off-screen romance and marriage years later. Arguably one of Lombard's finest film appearances.

A film featuring Clark Gable & Carole Lombard should be a lot more steamy then this! I mean, it's got Lombard strutting her stuff in minimal underwear and a VERY revealing shower scene, but the story it's what never gains steam. It's okay simple fun and Grant Mitchell does a positive role with what he get, but it's not the romance movie it would have been had it been made 2 or 3 years later.
