Likable annoyance with Van Johnson. One of the few box office successes for MGM in '46. He plays a decorated solider returning from war, only to be invited on a radio show for his accomplishments. However, he doesn't want to go on radio so he sends his shyster pal to impersonate him. And so starts the confusion and romance. Edward Arnold & Marina Koshetz joins the party and the trouble comes full circle. I know some will find the thin plot annoying, but I felt it got wild enough to entertain me.
