The babysitter confuses a 6 foot tall killer with the small child she’s babysitting as he lurches toward her with a hammer. Lady if he hits you in the head I don’t think anything will happen.

I would call this a near perfect exploitation movie. It takes all of twenty seconds to get to a severed head. It's low budget but there are some nicely effective scenes. Someone put care into these mutilations. The characters also feel real in an exploitative sort of way, like real actors wouldn't be so vulnerable. Or maybe I just like garbage.

When the best scene of a movie consists of reading a bad computer screen and nothing else, something has gone wrong. A few unintentional laughs and a nice b-horror atmosphere aren't enough to make it watchable.

Production very dated, otherwise not a bad film in its genre.

I thought it would be laughable piece of shit, but it was actually quite good. Recommended for fans of Halloween.

Cheesy, but watchable. Not great by any stretch.

So this is really bad already, but the fact that it has the audacity to compare itself so bluntly to Dawn of the Dead & Friday the 13th- two infinitely better movies- makes it that much worse & is also just laughable. The acting isn't all awful, admittedly, nor are the gore effects, but everything else is. Too many subplots, too many nothing people with paper-thin personalities, too many cuts to the same flashback. Lame ending. A few nuggets of good, mixed in with 95 other minutes of bad. Bleh.

A couple of decent scenes in an otherwise boring and poorly made films.

Some scenes are effective in conveying a sense of derangement and the soundtrack is cool. Acting is pretty much god-awful around the board, and I think it bullshits you to much with its anti-climactic scenes, which just become tedious. Nice gore fx.
