Early UK sound mystery with some fresh actors early in their careers. My favorite moment was Binnie Barnes, pretty much only used for a naughty musical number in her first talkie. The mystery is a simple one and more sweet than suspenseful with Hugh Williams & Heather Angel trying to get out of their little troubles with the help of old character actor Horace Hodges getting top billing, would you believe. It's not so bad when you consider the year it was made. Charming in it's quirky ways.
