If you ask me next week what this movie is about, I'd probably have a hard time recalling it. There's little reason to care about what's going on, and not much to care about anyway. At least there is something of a payoff in the end, but it's too little, too late. You could make a case that the film explores bitter regrets and existential ennui, but it's too superficial to get excited about. Bland performances, bland imagery, bland drama. A good remedy for your own nights without sleep.

The idea wasn't bad. A man waking up from a drunken night thinking he's killed a woman, and then goes searching. The problem was that they did all this in the most sleepy atmospheric approach they could. Sort of like a woman's picture in a noir environment. Keeps it dreamy, but removes any thrills.

Incredibly dull and overly melodramatic all while lacking any real forward momentum until the end. This was under 80 minutes but felt like 2 hours.
