In this installment Nemuri Kyoshiro runs afoul of another of the Shogun's children, this time a petulant young lord who enjoys testing his swords on peasants. The lord also has a scheme to become Shogun by secretly murdering the other heirs in line of succession ahead of himself. Kyoshiro is a nihilistic and funny character who doesn't hesitate to kill anyone he finds unworthy, this is a great series.
