As time travel movies go, it's slightly above average. I ran it at 1.5x (instead of my normal 1.75 or 1.88), as I agree with the idea that you do to sit in it for a bit. As a simple story it works, but the director thinks he's deeper than he is and leaves too much time to think about how stupid his cut of the movie is. Either he's slow witted or he cut it for the slow witted. So it's probably a mistake to watch it at regular speed. Closing scene was a poor cinematic and thematic choice.
