Necromancy

This dross exist in two versions - the full 1972 version and an abridged version called The Witching that was released in 1983. The 1972 version is longer, and generally makes more sense. It smells a bit of the numerous less-successful witches' coven films that sprung up around the time, and stylistically reminded me of The Stepford Wives. Pamela Franklin does well with the material, while I'm not really sure what Welles is doing here. It would be really hard to recommend either version.

Em honra dos 100 anos de Bert I. Gordon e dos 50 anos de lançamento nos EUA. O peso de ser intuitiva, o filme. Sério, o filme é muito bom, tem o exato peso dos filmes do interior inglês transpostos para os EUA, com várias pitadas do que estava acontecendo no Horror naquele momento, inclusive senti um twist de Zé do Caixão no Welles com sua obsessão pelo herdeiro. Por tudo isso me espanta ele ser tão mal avaliado, é picuinha com o Gordon ou eles viram alguma versão picotada? BlurayRip RARBG.

There are a couple of decent parts but for the most part this was just a bore.

Wow, Orson Welles in a Bert I Gordon picture! A rather garbled production, further marred by an exceedingly corny ending. (Oh yeah, and you won't believe that phone/Franklin zoom tandem sequence right at the end.)
