The Rob Schneider Project- day 16. Work resumes in the Hugely Unfunny Racist Rob Schneider labs after months of presenting our findings at scientific conferences. It seems investors need more raw data about the mental scarring Rob leaves behind. So we observed one of the oldest Schneider-sources, a bland movie about some sport or other (none of us recognized which one) with 1 full minute of tolerable Schneider. So boring, we slept like babies that night. A rarity. Schneider-annoyance factor: 2

This is a paint by numbers sports movie. The script is so predictable and there are a lot of better sports comedy movies out there than this one. There are a couple a funny moments but not enough for me to recommend this movie.

Schneider quest, film 16: I felt mentally defeated after this movie. It was so boring, so bland, I even was BEGGING for more Schneider. I wonder how much more damage the Schneider quest will do.

Sinbad, Loggia, Bakula, Elizondo, Bateman, Ireland, a veritable all star cast! -55 points for Schneider though.

Pure fun full of charm, one of my favorite sports movies.

Notable for a few lines, I suppose, but oversll a reminder that Scott Bakula will never top "Quantum Leap," Kathy Ireland should stick to wearing bathing suits and being quiet, and Rob Schneider plays the same character who makes funny faces while over pronouncing words in every movie (but sometimes has different accents).

A conventional underdog sports film with a kind of shaggy, low-key charm. Loggia's outbursts generate the biggest belly laughs.

It lacks any big laughs, but it's entertaining enough that you can easily waste a few hours watching it. It wouldn't hurt if you happened to enoy sport's comedies.

A few laughs but mostly out of nostalgia.

I thought there were moments that were fun, and I'm a sucker for sports movies.

A generic comedy with some laughs here and there (the penalties called on the Samurai guy especially). Hey, Kathy Ireland is hot, too.

It's hard not to like a movie with this cast. And I did enjoy it. The jokes were clever, but not fall out of your chair funny. The premise of Scott Bakula as a middle aged freshman QB was a little much to believe, but it was still enjoyable. Honestly, the Replacements did a better job with this idea. Still, it's a good film for fans of the game. "Blue! 42!"
