Terrible script, boring action and humor that never works. You think with all the badass things SEALs do it would be easier to make a decent action movie about it.

Failed to get the Paxton Seal of Approval

It was bland; reminds me a bit of Top Gun. Had every single trope in it including a rainy funeral, an interrupted wedding, sexy reporter. The Beirut set was very good. Actors weren't very believable as SEALs. Fav scene: the ridiculousness of the bad guys shooting a RPG into the water toward the escaping SEALs.

Perfectly good thinking man's action film. I cannot help seeing the back story from Top Gun in here. But ultimately for amphibious assaults on the East Med and Beirut street fighting see Munich or Waltz with Bashir - the Israelis have the experience.

80s-style jingoism with bad writing and uninspired action. Occasionally entertaining but mostly dull.

My God... Can we please get a decent movie on Navy SEALs somewhere?
