National Lampoon's Movie Madness

Released after Animal House, Movie Madness was a disaster for National Lampoon's on multiple levels. The first segment at least had a decent idea: it's satirising the personal growth movement that encourages selfishness and social decay, but it's poorly executed with only Riegert's completely clueless character generating a few mild chuckles. The satiric target of the second segment is unclear, and Jaglom's short is a woefully unfunny parody of buddy-cop films that was already tired in 1982.
