High-court justice M.K. Menon (Thilakan) was a martinet who sentenced his own son, Marancheri Induchoodan (Mohanlal), for murder, for 6 years, although Induchoodan pleaded innocent. Returning back from jail, Induchoodan locks horns with enemies of his father - the Manappally family, who he believed framed him. In the ensuing tug of war, Manappally Pavithran (N.F. Varghese) frames M.K. Menon of killing his own illegitimate daughter Induleka (Kanaka). Induchoodan fights for his father's release. (Summary by iceblox)

All glitter on the outside, but hollow inside. That's Narasimham in a nutshell. Narasimham is one of the many-in-a-row braindead movies of Mohanlal (and often directed by Shaji Kailas himself) where he portrays a superhero-like character who fights evil rich politicians & businessmen, protects the innocent & stands and deliver mile-long dialogs. In Narasimham, they also pulled in Mammootty for a short fiery performance, designed for nothing else other than applause from stupid die-hard fans.
