This movie makes such a mockery of The Academy Awards that you'd almost think it was a terrible ceremony that takes itself far too seriously and panders to elitist...oh my God! This movie is social commentary.

Still funny but no where near the quality of 1 and 2 (and a half) Glad they ended it here because everyone was looking tired. And I dunno about you but I'm absolutely transfixed by O.J Simpson's cold murderous staring eyes. Seriously watch the part again where they come to franks house and he offers then cakes, what is he thinking there? Is THAT the moment when he considered doing THE deed?

Steep drop off from the previous films. OJ would stab two people to death inside of three months of the release date, saving us a fourth.

This isn't terrible. Just terribly disappointing due to the simple beauty of the rest of the series. While losing its charm, it also replaces its subtle visual humor for in your face laughs. Nielsen and the gang still rock, but this feels like something entirely different.

pretty bad. the movie came out like two months before the famous nordberg murders, if you don't feel like looking it up. Broke with the Slobs V Snobs formula. The villain is just some dirtbag and the entire movie builds towards a transphobic joke. the same one from ace ventura. the same one from family guy. the only one, really. what if you saw a dick wouldn't you just immediately start throwing up to prove how not gay you were? A disappointing movie capped off by a wet fart.

This film, like the others in the trilogy, has a lot of solid laughs, but I can start to see the shift in how these parodies are made, since this film had more "spoofs" in it than the previous two - you could see them making fun of Thelma & Louise, Jurassic Park, and a few others...instead of just making fun of tropes and genre stereotypes....as much as it pains me to know this is the end of Naked Gun, I think they ended on a mostly good note

Rewatched. What a time capsule! No classic like the 1st film, but funny enough and totally relentless - 5 jokes may fall flat, but the 6th will get a laugh, all within 30 seconds. Great to see Fred Ward too, especially when he's standing next to Anna Nicole Smith.

At first I wasn't liking this as much as the other two, as it took a while to get going. It wasn't until the prison cafeteria scene where it improves, and after that I think it offers more laughs than the first two. The Oscars scene is one of the highlights of the series. Although the first half is pretty weak, and some of the jokes haven't aged well (more so than in the first two), it's a suitable sequel.

David Zucker's direction is certainly missed. Leading to far more film parody jokes rather than original writing. This is not a hugely bad thing however considering the consistent quality. As well as the sheer number of jokes that do land. Putting Naked Gun 33 and a third at least on par with 2 and a half.

Definitely not as funny as the first two and with a higher percentage of rehashed and thus predictable jokes, but still a pleasant watch, to a big extent thanks to Leslie Nielsen and a few hilarious lines and gags.

New director, same style. Segal's approach is more blunt and cartoonish than Zucker's, hammering home gags with less visual acuity, but it is essentially a xerox of Zucker. This isn't a problem though as Zucker/Abrahams wrote it, and their script is in many ways superior to the 2nd film, allowing Segal some room for error. As usual, Nielsen is effortlessly funny--Kennedy and Presley are no slouches either-- and the jail scenes and the finale at the Academy Awards offer wall to wall laughs.

The third time around there is still plenty of funny jokes. Not all of the jokes work but there are numerous ones that do hit the mark. Leslie Nielsen is hilarious again and again. This is a must see if you are a fan of the series.

Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult is just like the other two films, even if the creativity is starting to wear thin with this installment. It's the same type of humor, largely the same cast of characters, and it's still very funny. It does drag more frequently than it should, and the overt pop culture references and spoofs are a bit too easy, but I did still find a lot of the film enjoyable. It's funny, and with a comedy, that's the most important point to get right.

Its exactly the same jokes from part one or two, but then in a different setting. Yet another attempt from Hollywood to squeeze every dollar out of a franchise. Besides tho one or two giggles ( and an always gorgeous Anna Nicole Smith) , this movie is a waste of time. Lame scripting, terrible acting ( plus the standard attempt from Leslie Nielsen) and below standard directing.... Yawn.

50: Zucker's films are usually very messy due to the humour being shot at the audience from a pitcher machine, but they are still very funny. This one isn't. UPDATE: I was too hard on this film, it's just about consistently funny with its variety of humour

The high standards set by the writers were abandoned for this one, feeling very much like a collection of leftovers that hadn't made the cut for the previous films. The gags come nowhere near as thick and fast as in the first two instalments, with the overall quality decidedly lower too. Some still hit the mark, and as with all Naked Gun films it's enjoyably silly, but it is the weakest of the trilogy by a long shot.

Really mediocre compared to the first two. It's admittedly still got a couple of good gags that illicit a laugh but it is just the same jokes as the previous two films over and over. I suppose one could argue it's fun to give the Naked Gun series one more go but this feels like just beating a dead horse, in a rather less comical way than it was beaten in the second movie.
