Naked Blood: Megyaku

Man, this sucked. The two scenes of mutilation are incredible and cringe inducing for sure, but they make up about 5 minutes total of the running time. The rest of the film is dreadfully slow and boring and feels like forever even though it's barely 80 minutes. Skip it unless you absolutely NEED to see a chick eat her own eyeball.

Fairly slow, there are a few great gore scenes, and the story sucks

Few great scenes that every gorehound should see, but apart from that it sucks.

It's an interesting movie, and I like the direction, but it overall feels quite shallow.

Cheap little film that somehow caught me in it's web and evoked wordless realms in me. The cold, blocked yet most precious love of mother and son. And the intense sensuality of the few gore scenes.

Melodramatic, ultra gory little oddity. I guess you could read some feminism or commentary on dehumanization into it if you really wanted to, but really it's just an excuse to chuck nasty shit at the viewer. It does that pretty well.
