Padmanabhan (Dileep), a young man from Palakkad who makes a living supplying bodies for functions & events, comes to Trivandrum to participate in a rally, but ends up locking horns with the biggest bigwig of the city, Pushpam Prakash (Sayaji Shinde). Seeing how Prakash exploits the people of the city with the help of its Mayor Purushothaman (Vijayaraghavan), Padmanabhan runs for Mayor himself & wins.
