An idea that could have easily gone awry, but is handled so well, in fact, that it felt like watching two movies that I liked instead of just the one. Pasha's first screen role becomes an allegory of her emotional existence, and her art is framed as the public staging of a private hallucination.

Начало estreava há 50 anos na União Soviética. É um filme bem leve tal como a sua pretensão, é um Nasce uma Estrela sem a parte trágica, não é memorável, mas ainda é uma boa forma de passar 90 minutos agradáveis. Youtube ( https://youtu.be/kWqjAoAJfdU )

Wonderful lead performance and an amusing story of disillusionment and hope told in a pretty funny way. I'm not sure the non-linear structure adds anything, but it all works wonderfully anyway so it's no big deal.
