One of the few times Sam Newfield managed to film Buster Crabbe without making him look like a complete schmuck. Might still be a stinking jumble drama, but at least the hero looked handsome and rugged. Though, not as rugged as the man in ape costume. Believe me, there are much worse jungle movies out there, which says a lot about the state of Hollywood's poverty row in those days.

You would be hard pressed to find a cheaper or more bog-standard jungle adventure than this.
