Mystery Liner

A very minor mystery that's forgotten as soon as it ends.

A slow murder mystery that just feels.... sleepy. Doesn't help that a large part of the climax happens in the dark. They got a good cast, but poor production values unless one appreciate cool old machines as we get some sci-fi elements a short while there. Edwin Maxwell is the arrogant detective. Gustav von Seyffertitz is the main creepy suspect while Zeffie Tilbury brings the comical bits as the old lady looking for some company.

Poor, but it's interesting to see what passed for amazing sci-fi technology in 1934, and I kinda liked the old lady.
