The happiness of the Parankiyath family is shattered when Kasim's (Siddique) eldest daughter Wahida (Kanika) elopes with her lover Madhavankutty (Jayaram), before her wedding. In the resulting clash, Kasim kills his best pal's son Ramesh (Irshad) & goes to jail for 7 years. Once out of jail, Kasim is paralyzed in a murder attempt & Madhavankutty comes disguised as Dr. Mammootty to treat Kasim.
