Some original elements but overall it felt forced or disjointed. The designs are bland and Disney copycats, the songs are horrible

I'm a sucker for the Beauty and the Beast trope, so I'm going to rate this higher than it deserves. The characters (outside the castle) are actually likeable and even though the story is rushed in comparison to how much stuff they tried to incorporate, it's enjoyable and believable enough. My biggest gripe is the music. The "Two Steps from Hell"-esque stock music was overused and did not fit the film at all. I can't recall an instance where the soundtrack pulled me out of the movie as much.

Pure formula princess story with almost plagiarized Disney style songs to boot. Definitely of the type you feel you've heard them before, only a little bit worse and voiced by the lesser Duff sister for the English audience. Since I watch a lot of B-tier, or lower, animated movies, this was fun enough. There is weird humor here, and I can appreciate that in the mix of more generic ideas. For those that only watch the big cartoony creations.... this is not for you.
