Unmemorable mumble drama turns lo-fi Taken. A mystery with no plausibility, a drama with no arc, a thriller with few thrills.

James McAvoy peut me kidnapper pour me faire ce qu'il veut, d'ailleurs j'octroie une moyenne généreuse au film pour sa présence. Claire Foy est inutile et l'intrigue est lente, surtout la fin dans la maison, le real se fout un peu de notre gueule avec un faux-suspense hyper banal. Roupillon présent !

Love the film experiment idea of not giving McAvoy a script! But of course, the story itself... has been acted out many many times.

Slow at the beginning and somewhat weird. It picked up the pace a bit, the music definitely helped. It was nothing spectacular, but good performance by James McAvoy. Supposedly he played without a script with cues from the positions of the crew and his castmates. I couldn't really tell, but I have to admit, the movie feels a bit like car driving simulator, or a FMV game.

Only after watching I found out that McAvoy want given a script and "both actor and audience uncover the mystery at the exact same time." Film was OK, the experiment was good - so worth a watch.

The only interesting thing here is the film experiment in which James McAvoy wasn't given a script and his character discovers things at the same time the audience does
