The American guest to cast prestige over My Irish Molly (1938) was Phillip Reed. Never a major name, but a slick hand, as can be seen here. But the true gem of this film was a brand new actress at the time. A fresh Maureen O'Hara. One of her earliest films and she already showed the class which would make her a house hold name.
