My Ex and Whys

Cathy Garcia-Molina work as a director is really hit and miss for me. Sometimes her approach to sweet romance hits a nerve, other times she stabs her own point in the back with clichés. This time it's a little in the middle. After countless movies and TV-series together Gil & Soberano have the chemistry to make some of this work. But the idea of a ex trying to trap her cheating ex-boyfriend to prove a point that he's not changed was sloppily executed. Treads too gently around the problematics.
