I've heard of "kill the guy with the ball", but this is ridiculous.

Excellent in both it's description of football and it's practical effects.

Shows brutality of football and fragility of the players! Svankmajer's imagination is endless. Very funny.

In ridiculous displays of violence committed against clay, the link is drawn between the rah-rah nationalism of sports and violence against citizens. Silly and dark. Starting to see Svankmajer's obsession with mouths and their grotesqueness

Although the violence does get repetitive (as it should), the outcome is always nightmarishly fun to watch. A bit of a simple-minded satire of football culture, but probably a deserved one.

Very inventive animation about football hooliganism. Svankmajer made a sofa viewer nicely part of the show. Jan has already polished his story telling skills and the entire shortie was nailed in the end straight to the point. Skillful job indeed.
