Stealing footage from other pictures, and making better use of it, made this B-adventure an okay affair. A lot of it looks cheap, especially the footage shot specifically for this film, but Andy Devine is such a personality that his comic relief helps and Richard Arlen was a capable enough lead for this type of picture. So not a bad chop-job.
