Nino Martini was a Italian tenor who tried his luck in Hollywood. He was perhaps a little too European for the Hollywood audience to catch on and this ended up being his last for a decade. He had one more attempt in the 1940s, but that was it for him. A good operatic voice, and a fairly energetic guy, he's alright. Funny seeing him and Erik Rhodes together for the two sound so much alike! The plot is straight nonsense with a solid comic cast to heighten the enjoyment. Good fun, if nothing more.
