Murder She Said

Simple, but enjoyable.

A very fun movie. However, I was quite disappointed when, in the second half, "real" detectives stepped in - There was something very compelling about this woman nobody believes trying to prove everyone wrong by solving the murder by herself, but oh well. And a few too many red herrings for my liking. But a good movie for sure. The score is great too - That weird British-pop harpsichord theme perfectly evokes Miss Marple's cheerful, calm perseverance.

Didn't excite me at all.

The storyline is told extremely well - it has its development, the culminating point (and how thrilling!) and conclusion (personally, one of my fav moments). Another great aspect is cropping - I haven't found a single bad example.The music is kind of happy-go-lucky, but still suits the movie.Acting skills of the main heroine are good - funny at times, but still good.Script for dialogues of the old lady with both young and old Ackenthorpes is really hilarious.A really enjoyable production indeed.

Pretty decent. Even though I still don't know HOW she arrived at her suspect.
