On paper this sounded like something straight up my alley. British mystery with Mary Clare as a eccentric detective on the loose. But it more rushed, not really finding the time to tweak the characters, and therefore it all felt forgettable, which might be the reason they didn't continue making a Mrs. Pym film series. So it ends up as just another B-mystery. Serviceable for an hour's worth of snooping.
