Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont

A very sweet, delightful film. The ending was a bit weak-and-predictable, but the concept for the film is just so touching and the friendship between Ludovic and Mrs P is truly a gem of humanity!

An original funny, sweet & touching film. Upon reflection there were a few character and plot holes (or things I just would have liked explained more), but oddly enough I didn't recognize this so much while watching the film. The acting really helps to cover for these holes. Personally I would have liked a different ending, simply because I felt the rest of the film was more original than the ending. But, again, most of the script and the acting was superb!

If you can get past the scenery-chewing hotel people and suspend your disbelief it's ok, I couldn't.
