Based on the Broadway play "The Silver Whistle", they made it into a Mr. Belvedere film, the last of the Belvederes starring Clifton Webb. One where he enters a old folks home and deceives them into start living again instead of waiting to die. Mostly done through lying and stealing, so I'm not sure how wholesome this wholesome story is. Enjoyable it was.
