Sure it's not the same Bean from the show, the same Bean we've grown to love so much, but its not all that bad. The premise was pretty hilarious, and there are a few moments that are laugh out loud hilarious, but overall it kinda drags on. Good for a few laughs, but stick to the old Bean.

Absolute crap. Nothing like the old bean-movie. Ok you will laugh sometimes , but all the rest of the film is bad. Mr Bean isn't Mr Bean anymore in this film ( in my opinion )

Take this from a big fan of Mr. Bean's: You DO NOT, not under any circumstances, want to watch this film.

Probably the best BEAN movie you could hope for (given a character resolutely unsuited to a feature narrative); manages a pretty successful balancing act of Bean's antics forming a continuity with the episodic "blackout" nature of Bean's skits emerging relatively unscathed - perhaps never tops its hilarious opener as Bean encounters oysters again; while it never reaches the best of the TV series, this is still fun and solid entertainment, with Atkinson's expert comic timing on full display.

Infectious and innocent humour delivered on point, as always, by the inimitable Rowan Atkinson.

I genuinely consider this a comic masterpiece in almost all respects, but I must admit there is one thing that irrationally spoils my enjoyment of it: viz. the fact of an even shittier cover of a[n already somewhat shitty] Primitives song being not only played in its entirety in the film, but-- as if to add insult to what'sit-- repeated for the credits. :/

A solid 90. It managed to live up to the original series so beautifully. Every second of the film reminded me how much I loved the original show so much. It's good. Although, Willem Dafoe is in it. Did you know that? I forget every single time I watch it. Honestly. Willem Dafoe is in a Mr. Bean movie...well he's in a movie in a Mr. Bean movie...but yeah. Watch it. Not the first film. Watch this one.

I hate Mr Bean so much. It's so unfunny. There's 1 slightly funny scene though, and that's the escalator movie scene... the rest is utter garbage, goddamnit

Painful. An unwatchable mess. I put it on at work and I started cleaning the counter instead as that was much more entertaining.

Has a certain charm to it, but isn't that great of a film. Good for kids, and good for fans of the show. It actually reminded me more of the show than the first movie did, although I wouldn't read too much into that...

This Bean movie was a lot better then the Mr. Bean movie that came out like 10 years ago. I thought that it was more like the tv shows then the other one and the whole film fest thing was hilarious.

A massive let-down with only one funny scene in the whole damn film. On top of that the true character of Mr. Bean as seen in the TV episodes seems to have been lost somewhere in the process. I have previously enjoyed the original series and even the first film, but I have to admit that this is just a shockingly bad show. Then there's that absolutely shite theatrical ending to somehow endure as well.

As much of a disaster the first one was, this one was much better in terms of the gags, the array of accidental saves that Mr. Bean does, and it doesn't seem too long-winded all-in-all

He repeats a lot of visual gags from his show, and not his best ones, either. Mr. Bean dresses up like a Nazi, though, if that's your thing.

Not as bad as many people make it out to be. It's quite over the top and farfetched at times, but overall enjoyable. Dafoe is the cherry on the cake.

Strangely, not liking Bean made this better. It meant that I had no problem with him screwing himself over, but he's charismatic enough that I didn't mind his successes. Occasionally the film is funny, mostly it's tedious and strained. About what one would reasonably expect from Mr. Bean. It's not my type of comedy but at least it's not mean spirited.

I'm giving this film, this score, not because it truely deserves it (it proubably deserves a 20), but because of the disapointment I felt from a film based on one of the funniest Tv shows of all times!

I can, however, understand the hate for this. As well as being completely unnecessary, the film just falls flat on every level. And there's a criminal lack of Teddy!

Why does everyone hate this? Are you thinking of Bean: The Movie, because that was crap. I thought this was a great throwback to the TV series and old-fashioned Chaplin-esque comedy. But what do I know, I hated Superbad.

I thought it awfully charming. Certainly nowhere near as funny as his first Bean flick, or especially his TV show. So I would only loosely say it could be called a romantic comedy. Normally I don't go for that sort of thing, but this was cute. Aw.

I walked out of this thinking it was better than the 1997 movie with Peter Macnicoll, but the truth is that it has the absolute right idea, executed poorly. I can imagine a better Mr. Bean movie where Bean travels the European countryside -- an episodic one, for sure, but a much funnier one -- and you probably can, too. Willem Dafoe's role is pleasant enough, but it would have been funnier if he'd played himself. The whole movie has that kind of feeling.
