Wildly misses its mark. Hard to fathom anyone being taken in by Betty Luster. The homosexual undertones alone make this by far the most unintentionally bizarre film to come out of the 50's.

Hilarious when the MST3K gang lampoon it... otherwise, just weird.

Wonderfully bizarre with a shrill, androgynous sprite/demon extolling the virtues of music generally and Conn Inc. trumpets in particular.

As a musician, this pisses me off - it's just one big advertisement for Conn Inc. Not that that really matters, since the "B Natural" character is so annoying and borderline psychotic that it makes playing instruments completely unappealing. Whoever thought this would actually work and make people want to buy from Conn is obviously completely out of touch with reality. Pretty close to Manos in terms of quality, but not as bad because this is shorter and thus grates on you for less time.
