Mountain Justice

Mountain Justice might not be one of Michael Curtiz's most talked about movies, but it's an accomplished and intense film by the master craftsman. The story is about caveman minded mountain folks and their stern belief in "Thou Shalt Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother". Which is why we follow daddy from hell, Robert Barrat, and the torture he puts his daughter Josephine Hutchinson through. There's enough chills to elevate it above it's faults. That's down to Curtiz details in the storytelling.
