Mothers Cry

Mothers Cry (1930) is a touching tragedy. A mother having her family destroyed by her out-of-control first born played by Edward Woods. He was the most dramatic of them all, but there is a cool rebel streak in the performance, which was his debut on the silver screen. The foundation in this was Dorothy Peterson as the mother. A calm and subtle job compared to the rest, giving her role the warm motherly touch needed.
