Mother of the Bride

This was like a teen-comedy for 55-60 years olds. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but the film is utterly generic Netflix content without any surprises. It was nice to see Brooke Shields in a film after a long time, and at least the runtime was kept at 90 mins. It's baffling that director Mark Waters did Mean Girls in 2004 and is now cranking out stuff like this. At least the scenery and the resort in Thailand look nice.

The fact that they use that title even confuses me.
