Moonstalker

This is no masterpiece of slasher cinema, but it is quite a bit better than I expected from such an obscure, late-80's DTV thing. The acting isn't that bad, the characters are pretty likeable & even have a little substance to them, and the kills have a decent variety to them. A few are even pretty memorable, & all-around the effects aren't the worst. The killer has a well-crafted backstory too, which was nice- there was definitely a little thought put into it. All said, honestly worth a look.

The most basic of slashers.
