There's a reason that this picture never gets mentioned in discussions of '50s monster movies despite being directed by Arnold, and why it was one of the last to get a homevideo release. Not only is it not very good, it is in no way flamboyant enough or cheesy enough to make *any* lasting impression. That is why even _The Creeping Terror_ and _Eegah!_ are better known than this one, even long before MST3K. Even the title sounds generic

Easily the best film in the Eureka Three Monster Tales of Sci-Fi Terror BD set, but it's not a high bar to clear. It's entertaining enough to ignore the plot holes, plus there's a giant fish and gamma rays. Drawn out ending. Fav scene: dragonfly attack and then they stab it to death.
